Xplora sells smart watches for kids. The watches handle calling and messaging and include GPS location tracking, which makes them a first smart device for a child rather than a general-purpose phone. The company's US storefront is at shop.myxplora.com. The appeal of a kids smart watch is fairly specific. A parent wants to reach a child and know roughly where that child is, without handing over a device built around apps, browsing and social feeds. Xplora's watches are built around that narrower set of functions: voice calls, text messages and location, worn on the wrist where a phone would be left in a bag or lost at school. That puts the brand in front of families with children old enough to walk to school, ride a bus or spend time at practice, but too young for a full smartphone. Xplora is listed here under software and web services, and a connected watch does sit partly in that world, since calling, messaging and tracking all depend on a service running behind the hardware. The product itself is a wearable a child puts on in the morning. Any Xplora promotions listed on this page are collected as they appear and apply to purchases made through the Xplora US store. Offers on connected devices tend to move with the school calendar and the holiday season, so the mix of discounts available changes through the year.
