Flower.com is an online florist selling fresh flowers and gifts ordered online for delivery. The core of the business is flower delivery: arrangements sent as gifts, ordered through flower.com rather than in person at a shop counter. The catalog centers on fresh flowers, with gifts offered alongside them. That places the brand in the familiar territory of birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, thank-you gestures and the everyday occasions when someone wants to send something to another address rather than carry it themselves. Shoppers choose an arrangement, name a recipient, and the order is handled from there. Discounts on flowers and gift orders are what shoppers look for here, since floral gifting tends to cluster around dated occasions where the purchase is planned in advance. Flower.com operates as a straightforward sender's storefront: pick the flowers, pick the date, send them.
